Who writes this, and why
A reference site published by the people who install the systems. That is a conflict of interest, so here is how we handle it.
Who we are
This site is published by GWAY PTY LTD (ABN 12 632 040 325), the Gold Coast company behind AI Camera Systems. We design and install business camera systems, and we built the AI monitoring platform that sits on top of them, which runs in our own warehouse every day.
Why a separate site
Our commercial site exists to sell. This one exists to explain. The guides are written so you can plan a system, work out what it should cost you in storage and bandwidth, and ask any installer the right questions, whether or not that installer is us.
How the guides are written
- No invented numbers. Where we give a rule of thumb, we say it is one and explain what it depends on.
- No vendor kickbacks. We do not take payment to recommend brands, and the guides avoid brand rankings.
- Limits stated. Every page about AI says plainly what it cannot do, including ours.
- Not legal advice. Surveillance and privacy law differs by state. We explain the shape of it and tell you to check your own.
